All About Cinnamon
Once upon a time there was a sweet little pocket pittie princess named Cinnamon. Although she didn’t mean to, she found herself wandering the streets all alone. The great outdoors are no place for a little girl so when a nice lady came by, Cinnamon was happy to get out of the heat and go with her.
The lady brought her to a nice, loving rescue and Cinnamon settled in right away. Being such a happy, friendly girl she made friends with everyone in her foster home, all the dogs, cats, and kids too! She loved giving everyone kisses just so they knew how appreciative she was. She found out she loves doing zoomies in the yard, practicing her downward dog and sun salutations, playing with other dogs, sniffing on walks, and chewing on her bones. But her absolute most favorite part of being a princess is that you get all the squeaky balls you want! They bounce, they squeak, and they are the most glorious thing to chase (and they must be chased!)
Cinnamon also learned that she was a natural snuggler and could curl up in any position on a couch, in a bed, or most preferably on a lap! She therefore became known as the snugglyist, happiest girl in all the land! She is also a curious little lady and loves to follow her family around. She is trying to win the title of “Velcro Dog”, and is doing well in her “training”. She would love to do treat puzzles, learn new tricks, and go on any adventure as long as she’s with her family! This princess does not need a crown when she has those big pointy ears that act like a natural tiara!
Don’t be fooled by her size, this petite lady is not a puppy anymore. She is almost fully potty trained, doing well in her crate after settling in, and already knows her name!
Every princess needs a happily ever after and Cinnamon can’t wait for hers! She deserves the world and is ready to find her forever family to completely her story!
You may have noticed Cinnamon’s front legs are different. We believe she has hypertrophic osteodystrophy. Our vet has started her on a steroid to see if it will make a difference. We honestly thought she had broken both front legs but radiographs showed us differently. She sometimes limps a little but otherwise doesn’t seem to be phased by it.
Training/Skills
I’m still learning lots of new things! I’m working on my potty and crate training too!
